Nodding in infants may be caused by normal behavioral movements, or it may be related to epilepsy or myoclonus.
1. Behavioral actions: most of the nodding of infants is caused by normal behavioral actions, such as imitating the behavior of parents or children around them, or when infants make nodding movements, parents will show surprise and other expressions.
2. Epilepsy: infants nodding more frequently, may be related to epilepsy, epilepsy is a chronic recurrent transient cerebral dysfunction syndrome, clinical symptoms manifested in nodding, convulsions, cyanosis and so on.
3. Myoclonus: infants with the above conditions may be related to myoclonus. Myoclonus refers to the involuntary contraction of a group of muscle groups or the whole body, usually the contraction of antagonist and active muscles at the same time.
Infant nodding may also be related to other factors, suggesting that parents need to go to the hospital in time for relevant examinations, and cooperate with the doctor for active treatment.
