Why do you need an ultrasound?

An ultrasound can provide a clearer view of the ovaries, uterus and fallopian tubes, making it more accurate for diagnosing diseases.

Ultrasound is used to check for gynecological diseases by placing the ultrasound probe into the vagina of a woman and observing the uterus and ovaries to see if there are any diseases in the uterus and ovaries. Since the uterus and ovaries are very close to the vagina, the uterus and ovaries, as well as the fallopian tubes, can be directly observed for cysts or edema, which is more helpful in diagnosing diseases.

To diagnose whether a woman is suffering from uterine or ovarian diseases, the use of ultrasound is more accurate. However, it is only suitable for women who are sexually active or married. For women who are not sexually active, an abdominal ultrasound is more appropriate to avoid damaging the hymen.
