If abdominal pain is found at the same time as defecation, there are usually physiological and pathological factors. If the vagus nerve of the gastrointestinal tract is relatively sensitive, there will be a certain pulling pain, called entrapment pain, which will be accompanied by a sensation of falling, swelling and vague pain in the abdomen. However, this pain is usually mild and will be relieved after defecation. However, if abdominal pain occurs when trying to defecate, and the abdominal pain is significantly worse and does not ease after defecation, it is usually due to an inflammatory reaction in the intestine, such as intestinal spasm caused by inflammatory stimulation of the intestine. The contraction of intestinal spasm causes the emptying of intestinal contents downward, followed by the urge to defecate, and therefore the feeling of wanting to defecate.
