Sildenafil citrate tablets are mainly used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. The recommended dosage of this product is 50mg, which is best taken 1 hour role before the start of sexual intercourse. Depending on efficacy and resistance, the dosage can be increased to 100mg or decreased to 25mg and sexual stimulation must be present after taking this product or it will not be effective.
Adverse effects include headache, dizziness, visual disturbances, flushing, nasal congestion, nausea, and dyspepsia. It is contraindicated in persons with known hypersensitivity to the drug, and it should not be combined with nitric oxide donors (e.g., isoamyl nitrite) or guanylate cyclase agonists (e.g., leucovorin). In addition, this drug is also contraindicated in women, children, and people whose recent cardiovascular status makes sexual intercourse inadvisable.
