Precise location of Taichong acupoint

Tai Chong point is located on the dorsum of the foot, between the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones, in the depression in front of the combined part of the metatarsal base. Located on the foot syncopal liver meridian, Taichong point is the transmission point and original point of the foot syncopal liver meridian. It is located on the dorsum of the foot, between the 1st and 2nd phalanges, in the depression anterior to the combined part of the metatarsal bases, or where the pulsations of the arteries are palpable. Taichong acupoint can be used for the treatment of stroke, epileptic mania, headache, pediatric convulsions (pediatric diseases with dizziness, convulsions, and convulsions as the main manifestations) and other conditions caused by internal wind (because of the abnormal function of the internal organs caused by the wind); eye redness and swelling, tinnitus and deafness, dry and sore throat and other head and face of the five senses of the feverish diseases. It can also be used for gynecological conditions such as irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), dysmenorrhea; jaundice, dystocia and other liver and stomach disorders; as well as impotence and paralysis of the lower limbs (lower limb weakness, numbness and pain), swelling and pain of the feet, and so on.
