Currently, with the accelerated pace of social life and intense competition, the incidence of insomnia is increasing, and its occurrence is also very wide, whether male or female, elderly or young, urban or rural people can occur, insomnia can also be accompanied by a variety of mental, neurological and medical diseases. According to the data, 35-55 years old is the highest age group of insomnia today, and there is a trend of spreading to the young people, and the occupation is mainly management, management, finance, education and other brain workers. Modern research has confirmed that there are nearly 90 diseases associated with chronic insomnia. Insomnia not only causes great suffering to the patients themselves, but also brings negative problems to the whole society, such as increased consumption of medical resources, increased incidence of accidents and decreased productivity. After analyzing the clinical data of 1812 cases of insomnia patients, the author found that there are five major predisposing factors for insomnia today, such as psychiatric, disease, drugs, environment and physical condition. (1) mental factors, accounting for about 50%. Including emotional and mental displeasure, mental overwork, fear of shock, such as excessive work pressure, the death of a loved one, emotional trauma, etc.. (2) Disease factors, accounting for about 20%. Including physical diseases and other mental diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, endocrine diseases, digestive system diseases, gynecological diseases, bacterial and viral infections, liver diseases, chronic pharyngitis, cervical spondylosis, depression, anxiety disorders, after various surgeries, etc. (3) Environmental factors, accounting for about 5%. Such as house demolition, moving to a new home, environmental changes, three shifts of work, frequent business trips, roadside housing, etc. (4) Drug factors also have a significant proportion. Many drugs have their own side effects on sleep, mainly chemical synthesis of Western drugs, such as certain antibacterial agents, vasodilators, hormones, anti-TB drugs, antipsychotics, etc. (5) physical factors. This part of the population is relatively intelligent, responsible, everything is more thoughtful, the pursuit of perfection, more sensitive to changes in the external environment, this type of physique often has a family history of insomnia. From the above, we can see that insomnia should not be blindly nervous, first of all, we should self-analyze what may be the cause of the triggering, such as psychological factors or environmental factors, it is appropriate to make some self-adjustment in work and life, such as disease or drug factors, should go to a regular hospital, ask a specialist to make the appropriate treatment or drug adjustment. In the diagnosis and treatment of insomnia, clinicians must pay attention to the investigation of factors related to the occurrence of insomnia in the medical history, and then combine the clinical symptoms and physical and laboratory examinations in order to make the correct diagnosis and treatment.
