New Medical Orthopedics is a method invented by Professor Feng Tianyou of the Beijing Air Force General Hospital for the treatment of spinal pain disorders. The method emphasizes stability, accuracy, lightness and dexterity, and is one of the most scientific and least damaging of all spinal manipulative treatments. It is mechanically balanced and relieves pain caused by loss of balance in the ligaments, muscles and small joints around the spine, as well as relieves pain in the upper and lower extremities caused by nerve compression due to imbalance.
