What are the precautions after combined glaucoma cataract surgery?

  In the early postoperative period after combined glaucoma cataract surgery, the first thing to do is to avoid strenuous activities because they can affect the wound healing and the position of the IOL. It is important to avoid coughing, sneezing, eye rubbing, straining to defecate, and avoid movements that increase abdominal pressure. Avoid movements such as lowering the head and lying down.  Next, you should use your eyes less, avoid texting, watching TV, and reading books.  Be less chatty and less visitative.  The eyes should not be washed and avoid washing hair and eyes for at least one month.  About a week after surgery, learn massage under the guidance of your physician in order to ensure the long-term results of the surgery.  After surgery, you should follow up regularly, such as tearing, eye redness, eye pain and headache, vision loss, etc. You should follow up promptly.
