CA in dermatologic terms is an acronym for Condyloma acuminatum. Condyloma acuminatum is a proliferative lesion of the perianal area of the genitals caused by infection with the human papilloma virus. It is primarily transmitted through sexual contact, but can also be transmitted vertically, i.e., from mother to child, and through indirect object transmission. The incubation period for condyloma acuminatum is 1-8 months, with an average of 3 months. It mainly occurs in sexually active people, and the peak incidence is 20-40 years old, accounting for more than 80%. The main treatment for warts is physical therapy, such as laser, freezing and so on.
