The treatment of diabetic foot includes conservative treatment and surgery. Conservative treatment involves the use of microcirculation-improving drugs, including traditional Chinese medicines, to expand blood vessels and increase the blood supply to the limb, which is suitable for the early stage of diabetic foot without skin or tissue necrosis or infection, and before the blood glucose control is good. Once necrosis or infection of the limb occurs, surgical treatment may be required. Surgical treatments include interventional therapy, bypass surgery, amputation and lateral tibial bone transfer techniques.
