Guiding Chi San clears the heart, induces diuresis and nourishes yin. It is used for treating fire-heat syndrome of the heart meridian. Heart and chest irritation and heat (irritability and sultriness), thirst and face redness, desire to drink cold, as well as mouth and tongue sores; or heart heat moving to the small intestine, redness and stinging pain in urination. Niu Huang Qing Xin Wan can clear away heat and toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), and calm the mind. Used for evil heat internal closure, restlessness, delirium (delirium, nonsense), pediatric fever convulsions.
