Is moodiness a mental illness?

Temperamental disorders are not necessarily psychiatric disorders and may be seen in menopausal women and children. Under the influence of endocrine disruption, menopausal women may experience anxiety, depression, and physical reactions such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness, and the patient may show moodiness. Children may also be temperamental due to the imperfect development of the nervous system and the fact that their ability to control their own emotions is not yet fully developed. If the patient is not only temperamental, but also has other manifestations such as hallucinations, delusions, extreme anxiety and depression, there is a possibility of psychosis.
