Patients with gas in the stool consider the following three causes: First, improper eating: eating more meat, eggs, milk, fish, shrimp, soy products, taro, sweet potatoes and other gas-producing foods, resulting in excessive gas production in the intestinal cavity, so defecation and exhaust also increase. Second, acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases: such as bacterial enteritis, viral enteritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, patients often have abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension and other symptoms, more gas production in the intestinal cavity, also promote defecation. Third, other causes: be alert to the presence of colorectal tumors. When the above symptoms appear, colonoscopy should be performed to exclude organic lesions, and in daily life, lifestyle adjustments should be given to eat warm, soft, light and easily digestible food, avoid the intake of raw, cold, hard and spicy, stimulating food, eat less and more often, ensure sufficient sleep, exercise appropriately and enhance physical fitness.
