For hematochezia caused by blood stasis, there is the option of Blood Discharge and Hemostasis Relieving Tang, which consists of rhubarb, wine dihuang, angelica sinensis, red peony, and peony dandanpi, etc., which can promote blood circulation, resolve blood stasis, and activate blood circulation to alleviate pain (relieving pain by removing blood stasis); and also Tao Hong Si Wu Tang, which consists of peach kernel, safflower, angelica sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, white peony, and Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, which can support and activate blood circulation.
