Sanhuang Tablet is a proprietary Chinese medicine which can cure constipation caused by heat in the triple jiao (heavier heat in the chest and abdomen).
Sanhuang Tablets is composed of rhubarb, berberine hydrochloride and scutellaria extract, which is effective in clearing heat and removing toxins, diuretic and laxative, and can be used in the treatment of eye redness and swelling, mouth and nose sores, sore throat, swollen gums and pain, heartburn and thirst, and constipation caused by triple-heat syndrome. Therefore, Sanhuang Tablet can cure constipation caused by Sanjiao heat, but if the constipation does not belong to the above mentioned patterns, it should be avoided to take it blindly.
