Turbinaria is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, for the Euphorbiaceae plant ground structure leaves of the dried above-ground parts. This product has the effect of dispelling wind and removing dampness, relaxing tendons and activating blood circulation, dispersing blood stasis and eliminating swelling. It is used for treating rheumatic paralysis, contracture of tendons and bones, cold and damp feet, lumbar sprain, paralysis, amenorrhea, scrotal eczema and other conditions. Its adverse reactions, contraindications are not yet clear. The medication should be noted that pregnant women are contraindicated.
Clinically, it is generally not used alone, often with the production of Chuanwu, extensor grass decoction, for rheumatoid arthritis; and leakage of reed, wind, ground elm, used for the beginning of the swelling and poisonous; and snakebeds, Ai Ye decoction for external washing, used for scrotal eczema, carbuncle swelling and poison, and so on.
