What are the signs of iron deficiency anemia

  1. Pale face, fatigue, dizziness, tinnitus, memory loss, palpitations and shortness of breath after activity, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea, and swallowing difficulties in severe cases.  2.Some patients (mostly children) may have omnivorous fetishes such as mud, stones and raw rice.  3.Some patients may have tongue pain or atrophic linguitis, keratitis, dry and wrinkled skin, dry and lusterless hair, easy to fall off, thinning and brittle finger (toe) nails, lack of luster, or in severe cases, flattening or depression in the shape of a spoon (anti nail). Increased heart rate, enlarged heart borders, and grade II systolic murmurs can be heard in the apical region.
