How to treat laryngitis and pharyngitis

2. Pharyngitis: In addition to acute and chronic classification, chronic pharyngitis can be subdivided into 3 categories.
(1) Acute pharyngitis: mainly take medication, including gargles (such as compound borax solution), tablets (such as dulcimer), anti-infective drugs (such as acyclovir and other antiviral drugs, amoxicillin and other antibiotics) and so on.
(2) chronic pharyngitis: ① chronic simple pharyngitis: commonly used gargle or tablets (as above) and other treatments; ② chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis: commonly used drugs (such as silver nitrate solution) or physical (such as laser) therapy to cauterize the follicles; ③ atrophic pharyngitis and dry pharyngitis: commonly used iodine glycerin, vitamins (such as vitamin C) and other treatments.
