What vaccine will leave scars

The main vaccine that can leave local scars is the BCG vaccine. BCG vaccine is a vaccine used to prevent tuberculosis and is injected intradermally in the deltoid area of the upper arm, not subcutaneously or intramuscularly. For about two weeks after the injection, localized redness and swelling can occur. Some people may develop pus or small ulcers, which can be treated appropriately to prevent the infection from getting worse. It is likely that scars will remain afterwards, but some people can be given the BCG vaccine without scars. The BCG vaccine is used to prevent tuberculosis, and although it does not achieve 100% protection against tuberculosis, it is very helpful in controlling it. Other than that the vaccine is basically an intramuscular injection in the deltoid area of the upper arm, which usually does not leave a scar.
