Why do I feel more ADHD than before?

Some parents are concerned that more and more children are being diagnosed with ADHD, but in fact the incidence of the disease has not changed much, except perhaps that more children are being screened for ADHD because of the increasing demands on their attention in school and the increasing attention that adults are paying to their children’s attention deficit, hyperactivity and poor self-control. Yang Liangzheng, Children’s Health Clinic, Jinan Children’s Hospital Although awareness of ADHD has increased, about half of the children who suffer from ADHD are still not properly diagnosed and treated, parents do not bring their children to the clinic in time, or parents do not intervene for their children after diagnosis for various reasons. Most children with ADHD are identified and diagnosed when they first start school because the symptoms of ADHD significantly affect the child’s behavior, which in turn causes a drag on all aspects of school functioning for children of their age.
