The Anointing Vessel Point is located on the back, under the spinous process of the 4th thoracic vertebra, 3 inches off the posterior median line. The Anointing Vessel Point is located on the Foot Solar Bladder Meridian, on the back, under the spinous process of the 4th thoracic vertebra, 3 inches off the posterior midline, i.e. four fingers off the posterior midline. Anointing Vermicula point can be used to treat various chronic deficiency diseases, such as bone vapor and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat comes from the inside of the bone to the outside of the penetration of heat), night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, and waking up to stop sweating), spontaneous sweating (sweating involuntarily during the daytime, sweating aggravates with a little movement), weakness of the spleen and stomach, tiredness of the limbs, prolonged coughing, haemoptysis, vomiting and bleeding and other conditions, and also be used to treat the pain of shoulder and back and other localized disease of the meridian circulation. Anointed Vermicula point can be needled and moxibustion can be carried out, because of its special location, the needling should be oblique stabbing, avoid straight stabbing, so as not to cause pneumothorax. Therapeutic manipulation of the anointing point should be performed by a clinician.
