Risks of hyaluronic acid surgery for maline augmentation

Hyaluronic acid augmentation of the apple muscle is generally safe because hyaluronic acid injection is a minimally invasive procedure with no visible openings and no scars left behind. However, if the operation is not done properly, it may cause some harm. Due to the rich blood in the face and the close distribution of blood vessels, it is generally necessary to operate with caution. When the hyaluronic acid is injected back to the aspiration, and when the skin is found to be white or in severe pain, the injection should be stopped and local hyaluronidase treatment should be given. Within one week of hyaluronic acid injection, there can be slight local symptoms such as redness, slight pain and swelling, which are normal and can gradually fade away after one week. Besides, if the injection site is not suitable, its shape will be changed. If there is excessive absorption or uneven injection, some nodules or granular appearance may appear. Serious complications may also occur, such as inadvertent injection of fat particles or hyaluronic acid into blood vessels, causing vascular embolism or even tissue skin necrosis. All of these situations can occur, but they occur very rarely. To prevent such risks, patients should choose a regular hospital or plastic surgery facility with an experienced surgeon.
