Are epiglottis nodules serious?

Epiglottis nodules are a normal anatomical structure in the human body and make no difference whether they are serious or not.
An epiglottic nodule is a protrusion of the epiglottic cartilage on the lower part of the laryngeal surface, covered by a ciliated respiratory mucosa, which houses the mucous glands and is crossed by branches of the internal laryngeal nerve. The epiglottis nodule is a normal anatomical structure in the human body, but not all people can detect a distinct epiglottic nodule structure protruding from the posterior surface of the epiglottis on laryngoscopy.
When this structure is detected, the laryngoscopic features can be combined with the advice of a specialist to get targeted guidance to fully understand the structural composition and physiological function of the laryngeal cavity, without excessive panic and worry, so as not to cause unnecessary psychological burden.
