Middle Meridian: the main manifestations include paralysis of half of the limbs, numbness of the limbs, external evil at the corners of the mouth, slurred speech, dizziness, redness of the face and eyes, thirst and dryness of the throat. The main prescriptions are Baihui, Tongtian and Fengfu, and the upper limb acupoints of shoulder, Quchi, Waiguan and Hegu.
