What is orofacial cystic pouch? How should it be treated?

After aging, a lump of tissue will protrude from the back of the puppet pattern, and the face will slowly become square, and this lump of protruding tissue is the orofacial pouch. Why do you call it a pouch? Because it is very soft and thin compared to other areas of the skin, and you can feel that there is something inside. It is the most difficult part of the facelift and the most difficult tissue to deal with. If this area can be done perfectly, the facelift can be said to be very effective. In terms of medical technology, so far, there is no surgical method that can perfectly solve the orofacial pouch, it is not a problem of an extra piece of skin, the fatty tissue inside it is also bulging, and it is very troublesome to deal with. For this area, my current practice is: first, localized fiber optic lipolysis to remove part of the excess fat, using its tissue contraction properties to further adsorb with the deep tissue, while doing SMAS fascial layer tightening, slowly layer by layer to tighten it, and then suture flat. Second, the skin is extensively peeled and lifted upward. However, there is still a problem that cannot be solved. If we compare the skin to a ball of skin, we can unfold the ball, cut it all out flap by flap and then flatten it, but this operation cannot be realized in this area. From my own point of view, after more than 30 years of methodological and technical improvements, I have some insights and experience in the treatment of orofacial pouch, but I would not dare to say that there are no problems at all, sometimes the surgery still leaves some. For this problem, I am trying my best to find a solution, and now I am also trying to use photoelectric technology to further thicken the skin in this area, so that it is not so thin and flabby.
