Normal range of LDL-C

LDL-C is low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, with a normal range of 0-3.4 mmol/L, an ideal level of 0-2.6 mmol/L, an appropriate level of 0-3.4 mmol/L, a borderline increase of 3.4-4.09 mmol/L, and an elevation of ≥4.1 mmol/L. Patients over 40 years of age with diabetes mellitus and blood lipids over 1.8 mmol/L. Or patients with hypertension, severe obesity, or smoking are at high risk for atherosclerosis and need to lower LDL to below 2.6mmol/L; low-risk patients need to control below 3.4mmol/L; very high-risk need to control below 1.8mmol/L. Increased LDL is one of the main elements that cause atherosclerosis, and early diagnosis can effectively prevent atherosclerosis.
