What happens when an ectopic pregnancy occurs with an IUD?

Ectopic pregnancies can occur with IUDs, but the rate of occurrence is very low. If ectopic pregnancy occurs after the IUD is inserted, it is most likely to be caused by ectopic pregnancy due to inflammation of the fallopian tube caused by the IUD. Clinically, the main cause of ectopic pregnancy is due to the presence of chronic tubal inflammation, which makes the fallopian tubes not smooth, resulting in the fertilized egg not being able to pass through the fallopian tube smoothly, and thus settling in the fallopian tube, and so it will cause ectopic pregnancy. Patients who get pregnant with an IUD often result in ectopic pregnancy, the possibility of which has little to do with the IUD itself, but is mainly directly related to chronic inflammation of the fallopian tubes.
