Do multiple polyps of the colon 0.3-0.6cm need surgery?

Multiple colon polyps that are between 0.3 and 0.6 centimeters in size usually require surgical removal for treatment. Multiple colon polyps are a clinical type of colon polyp and are usually no larger than 1 centimeter in size. If the number of colon polyps exceeds two or more, they are considered multiple colon polyps. When multiple colon polyps are detected by colonoscopy, it is recommended that they be resected and treated under colonoscopy. Smaller colon polyps are usually treated with radiofrequency resection of multiple colon polyps. For larger polyps or if there is bleeding during the resection process, laparoscopic resection is recommended and titanium clips are used to stop the bleeding. After radiofrequency resection of colon polyps, it is recommended that patients need to rest in bed for about a week, and closely observe whether there is abdominal pain and bleeding in the stool. It is also recommended to review the electronic colonoscopy within one year, and treat any abnormality in time to prevent delaying the disease.
