A small hole scratched by a domestic cat with a small amount of blood to be injected?

A little blood from a scratch by a domestic cat may not necessarily lead to rabies, but it is still recommended that the rabies vaccine be administered promptly. The rabies virus enters the body through the mucous membranes on the body surface or the broken parts of the skin surface, eventually causing the patient to have a rabies attack. The presence of saliva residue on the paws of cats after licking, when a person is scratched by a cat, even if the skin is not visibly broken or bleeding, there is still the possibility of virus invasion. The injured person should go to a vaccination station or hospital for rabies vaccination, rinse the wound with soapy water (or a weak alkaline cleanser) and flowing water alternately for more than 15 minutes, and disinfect with iodophor. If the cat has been regularly vaccinated against rabies, the injured person can be observed for 10 days and if the cat is still healthy, subsequent vaccinations may not be given.
