San Fu Paste for dysmenorrhea can be applied to Qihai, Guanyuan, Zhongji and other acupoints under the guidance of a doctor.
Qihai: located in the lower abdomen, 1.5 inches below the umbilicus, on the anterior midline. It can regulate menstruation and stop leucorrhoea (regulate menstruation and reduce abnormally increased leucorrhoea), warm and tonify the spleen and kidneys, etc. It can be used for pain around the umbilicus, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, dysuria (unruly urination), and enuresis.
Guanyuan: located in the lower abdomen, 3 inches below the umbilicus, on the anterior midline. It can tonify the kidney and cultivate the vital energy, warm the yang and consolidate defecation. It can be used for premature ejaculation, leucorrhea (cloudy urine like white slurry), menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), hypogonadism, yin ting (prolapsed uterus of a woman or even prolapsed out of the vaginal opening), and incomplete discharge of bad dew.
Zhongji: located in the lower abdomen, 4 inches below the umbilicus and on the anterior midline. It can warm yang and benefit water (replenish yang qi in the body and promote the circulation of water and fluids), regulate menstruation and stop leucorrhea. It is used for spermatorrhea, impotence, infertility, irregular menstruation, disintegration, yinjiao, yin itching, etc.
Sanyinjiao: Located on the inner side of the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the posterior margin of the medial edge of the tibia. It can invigorate blood circulation and regulate menstruation, benefit qi and spleen, cultivate the liver and kidney, and is used for spermatorrhea, impotence, enuresis, palpitation, insomnia, hypertension, lower limb impotence paralysis (weakness and numbness of the lower limbs and pain), and all signs of yin deficiency.
