The diet of a lactating woman is mainly based on nutrient-rich foods to promote milk secretion.
1. Infants and young children derive a large part of their nutrition from the breast milk of lactating women. Therefore, the diet of lactating women after delivery should be smaller and more frequent, with more foods rich in protein and vitamins.
Mothers can eat more light, fresh, nutrient-rich foods as well as soups to promote adequate milk, moist, common foods such as pig’s feet and peanut soup, crucian carp soup, papaya and pork knuckle soup, as well as fresh lean meats, fish and shrimp, milk, soybean products and so on.
2. Breastfeeding for some of the stimulating food need to abstain, as well as such as coffee, tea, wine, etc. should also be avoided, all kinds of drugs need to be used under the guidance of the doctor, to prevent the drugs into the breast milk to affect the fetus.
