The new coronavirus vaccine does not cause leukemia. The new coronavirus vaccine is currently divided into five categories, including inactivated vaccine, recombinant protein vaccine, viral vector vaccine, nucleic acid vaccine and attenuated vaccine. At present, the above vaccines are public products in China, and universal free vaccination is practiced among susceptible people. It has not been confirmed that there is a definite causal link between the new coronary pneumonia vaccine and leukemia. Instead, the current association between the new CRP vaccine and leukemia is mostly focused on “coincidental reaction”. A “coincidental reaction” is a coincidental onset of disease after vaccination in a person who was in the incubation period or pre-morbid stage of the disease at the time of vaccination. Therefore, “coincidental reaction” is not the main cause of leukemia, and the occurrence of leukemia is closely related to the patient’s previous genetic factors and living environment factors. For this reason, there is no need to worry too much about leukemia caused by the new CRP vaccine. On the contrary, it is more important to receive the new CRP vaccine in a timely manner in order to establish an immune barrier and prevent infection.
