Xiaoqinglongtang currently has no clear clinical side effects, generally as long as the medication is used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions there will be no significant adverse reactions.
Xiaoqinglong Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine formula that targets the symptoms of External Cold and Internal Drinking (the muscle surface feels wind-cold evil qi, and the water in the body stops gathering and does not run). Ingredients of the medicine include ephedra, peony, fine acrid, dry ginger, licorice, cinnamon sticks, schizandra, and hemixia.
This is because Xiaoqinglong Tang can clinically serve to detoxify the surface and disperse cold (removing the cold from the muscle surface), warm the lungs and resolve drinking (promoting the flow of stagnant water and fluid by warming the lungs).
Therefore, it can be used to treat symptoms such as malignant cold (fear of cold), fever, head and body pains, absence of sweating, wheezing, sputum (phlegm) that is scanty and profuse, chest constriction, dryness and vomiting, wheezing and coughing of phlegm and drink (pathological products of impaired metabolism of water and fluid) due to external cold and internal drinking, inability to lie down, body aches and heavy pains, puffiness of head, face, and limbs, white slippery fur of the tongue, and a floating pulse.
The contraindications of Xiaoqinglong Tang are not clear, it is recommended to take the drug under the guidance of a doctor, do not take medication without authorization, so as to avoid the adverse consequences caused by the wrong medicine.
