Can baldness be cured?

Most of the baldness can be cured. It is mostly related to endocrine disorders, mental stress, insomnia, infection, autoimmunity, genetics and other factors. Most of the baldness is self-limiting, and some of them can recover even without treatment. After a certain time and area of baldness hair loss occurs, the hair no longer falls out, and after about 2~3 months, new hair starts to grow out. The hair is relatively soft when it starts to grow out, and with the metabolism of the hair, it finally returns to normal completely. There are some cases of baldness that require treatment, such as those with poor self-recovery and those with other diseases. If baldness occurs in large numbers or over a large area, it affects the appearance and causes mental stress to the patient, and needs to be treated actively. Treatment: 1) Active treatment of the primary disease (such as diabetes, thyroid disease, etc.), 2) Local treatment, such as localized ginger application or shampoo, 3) Glucocorticoid treatment, etc. 4) Chinese medicine, based on evidence-based treatment, can combine external treatment with internal treatment, especially for stubborn baldness, which is often very effective. 5) There are many other treatments, such as acupuncture, physical therapy, laser, etc. The self-healing rate of baldness is usually 40%-70%, especially for acute onset of the disease, and some baldness with limited self-healing ability can recover very well after treatment. However, some baldness with primary diseases, immune abnormalities, and childhood baldness are less effective and are prone to recurrence.
