Whether chemotherapy is needed for breast cancer with no lymphatic metastasis cannot be generalized. If the patient has high-risk factors, then adjuvant chemotherapy is usually needed after surgical treatment. Breast cancer is a common malignant tumor in women, and the treatment methods mainly include surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Breast cancer patients with negative axillary lymph nodes can be divided into low-risk group for metastasis and recurrence as well as intermediate- and high-risk groups. Those in the low-risk group do not need postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy, while those in the intermediate- and high-risk groups generally need to be treated with adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. Therefore breast cancer without lymphatic metastasis may also need chemotherapy. You cannot rely solely on whether lymph node metastasis occurs to determine whether chemotherapy is needed, but need to conduct a comprehensive analysis and assessment, such as the patient’s physiological condition, life expectancy, tumor diameter and so on. It is recommended that patients choose the appropriate treatment method according to their own conditions under the guidance of doctors and actively treat the disease to avoid delay.
