What happens in women with advanced pelvic cancer

Female pelvic cancer refers to the cancerous transformation of organs in the pelvic cavity, usually including cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and so on. The advanced stage of female pelvic cancer means that the malignant tumors occurring in cervix, endometrium, ovary and other parts of the body have reached the advanced stage.
1. Cervical cancer: cervical cancer is mainly caused by HPV virus infection, early sexual life, smoking and other factors may also lead to cervical cancer, and if patients do not take active treatment, the cancer may spread to the surrounding tissues and distal organs in the late stage. Patients can choose radiotherapy, chemotherapy or targeted drug therapy to improve the symptoms.
2. Endometrial cancer: endometrial cancer is mainly related to gene mutation, abnormal hormone level, etc. Endometrial cancer in late stage often shows symptoms such as fever, anemia and emaciation. Generally, it can be treated by radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
3. Ovarian cancer: Ovarian cancer is mainly related to family heredity, endocrine abnormality and other factors. In the late stage of ovarian cancer, peripheral tissue metastasis, lung metastasis or bone metastasis may occur. Generally, immunotherapy and chemotherapy can be chosen for treatment.
