Patients with brain hemorrhage who undergo craniotomy can generally awaken within 24 hours at the earliest with a small amount of bleeding, but the time to awaken varies for different amounts of bleeding. Most patients with a small amount of bleeding and a cleared hematoma will gradually awaken within 24 hours after surgery. If the brain hemorrhage has caused cranial damage, the awakening time can be prolonged, and it usually takes about 3-4 weeks for the patient to gradually awaken. If the amount of brain hemorrhage is large and secondary hemorrhage occurs after craniotomy, or if the patient is in poor health and has other underlying diseases, it is difficult for such patients to wake up within a short period of time, and some of them may even enter a long-term vegetative state. In addition, patients with cerebral hemorrhage may experience numbness in the hands and feet, and massage or hot compresses are recommended to relieve the symptoms.
