Separation of the collecting system of both kidneys usually suggests the presence of hydronephrosis, which may be caused by vesicoureteral reflux, urinary tract obstruction, prostatic hyperplasia and other reasons.

3. Prostatic hyperplasia: because the prostate gland is stimulated by hormones, such as the size of the oppression of the urethra, causing difficulty in urination, thus leading to the separation of the renal collecting system.
