Analysis of cardiovascular complications of chronic renal failure and its Chinese medical evidence

Objective To investigate the cardiovascular complications of chronic renal failure (CRF) and their TCM evidence distribution. Methods Through clinical research, we investigated and analyzed the patterns of primary illness, TCM evidence patterns and evil and actual concurrent evidence in patients with cardiovascular complications of CRF. Results The overall incidence of cardiovascular complications in non-dialysis CRF patients was 41.51%, among which 26.62%, 6.92% and 5.45% of CRF with chronic glomerulonephritis, CRF with hypertensive nephropathy and CRF with diabetic nephropathy were complicated by cardiovascular disease, respectively; the incidence of cardiovascular complications gradually increased with the deterioration of renal function, with a positive statistical correlation; hypertension The incidence of cardiovascular complications in CRF and diabetic nephropathy CRF is prone to complicate cardiovascular disease, with the incidence rates of 64.71% and 60.47%, respectively; there is no significant difference in the incidence of cardiovascular complications in CRF patients between male and female genders. cardiovascular complications in CRF are most common in the spleen-kidney-yang deficiency type (87.50%), and the total proportion of patients with both evidence of evil and real (dampness and stasis) is 92.93%. The conclusion suggests that the pathomechanical transformation pattern of CRF-based cardiovascular complications exists, eventually forming a pathological state of Yang-weakness and Yin-string, with the original deficiency and the symptoms of actuality, while the progression of the disease is accelerated and induced by evil realities such as stasis, dampness and toxicity.
