TMJ disorder is a common disease in the oral cavity and has a high prevalence in the population. With a stethoscope: you will be able to hear popping and murmuring sounds during the patient’s mouth opening. When opening the mouth or chewing, the temporomandibular joints on both sides of the cheek, along with the opening and closing of the mouth appear sound. 2. Palpation with the hand: to determine whether the movement of the condyles of the temporomandibular joint on both sides is normal. It is not normal to open the mouth too much or too little; when opening the mouth, the lower jaw appears to be skewed from side to side. 3. Imaging tests such as X-ray, arthrography, CBCT, MRI, etc.: You can see the condition of the joint at a glance and make a definite diagnosis.
