Ovulation test is negative or positive in early pregnancy

Ovulation test paper results can be positive in early pregnancy.
A woman’s luteinizing hormone levels peak before ovulation, and ovulation test strips are used to predict whether or not ovulation is occurring by detecting luteinizing hormone levels.
Since the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) rises gradually after pregnancy, and HCG is structurally similar to luteinizing hormone, HCG in the urine can interfere with the test results and cause the ovulation test to appear positive.
Therefore, during the use of ovulation test strips, if the peak value of luteinizing hormone keeps appearing for several days, you should first test whether you are pregnant. If you want to test for pregnancy you can take an early pregnancy test, test blood HCG or ultrasound.
It is recommended to seek medical attention and receive standardized diagnosis and treatment if necessary.
