What are hepatitis markers

Hepatitis markers refer to the pathogenetic tests associated with viral hepatitis, which can be used clinically to determine whether or not one is infected with the hepatitis virus.
Viral hepatitis can be categorized into hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hepatitis D, and hepatitis E, etc. Clinically, each of these types of viral hepatitis has its own serum marker. Clinically, the above types of viral hepatitis have their own serum markers, which can be used to determine the type of hepatitis through the examination of serum markers:
1. Hepatitis A: Determine whether you are infected with hepatitis A virus by detecting hepatitis A antibody in serum;
2. Hepatitis B: clinically, hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis B surface antibody, hepatitis B e antigen, hepatitis B e antibody, hepatitis B core antibody can be tested to diagnose whether one is infected with hepatitis B virus;
3. Hepatitis C: the serum marker for hepatitis C is hepatitis C antibody, which is the nucleic acid of hepatitis C virus;
4. Hepatitis D: Hepatitis D tests mainly include Hepatitis D virus antigen assay, Hepatitis D virus antibody assay and Hepatitis D virus RNA test;
5. Hepatitis E: Hepatitis E virus infection is determined by detecting hepatitis E antibody in serum.
