I. Clinic hours and locations
Since there is often a mismatch of specialties in online registration, which brings inconvenience to patients, the author of this article has informed the relevant departments through his unit that he will no longer make online reservations, but the original clinic hours and locations will remain unchanged. Wang Shilin, General Surgery Department, Air Force General Hospital
Due to the long holidays such as National Day and Spring Festival, as well as the inconvenience of visiting the clinic on Saturdays and Sundays, it is better for foreign patients to visit Beijing than to come to Beijing near the long holidays or on Fridays. If you come to Beijing on Sunday, you can arrange consultation and examination on Monday. If you come to Beijing near the end of the long vacation, it is more convenient to arrange beds and examinations for hospitalization. You can avoid long waiting time and reduce the cost in Beijing.
The specific times and locations of the outpatient clinics are
Monday afternoon Air Force General Hospital Outpatient Clinic, 4th floor, Specialist Room 12
Wednesday morning Air Force General Hospital Outpatient Clinic, 4th floor, Specialist Room 12
Wednesday afternoon Air Force Hospital 466, Outpatient Clinic, Level 3, Room 320
Non-specialist clinic hours at
During non-specialist clinic hours, Dr. Wang Shilin does not go to the clinic. If you have already contacted him, please go directly to the general surgery ward specialist office on the 6th floor of the inpatient department to see Dr. Wang.
II. Registration method
1. Air Force General Hospital General surgery specialist number at the registration window of the outpatient department. Some patients are unable to get a specialist’s number, so they register a general number. The doctor who sees the specialist can not find the number. If you want to see a specialist, don’t register for a general number. 2.
2. How to add a number.
The method is to go to the doctor in the consultation room, show your ID card, enter the information into the computer, and then take the additional note to the registration window to add a number. If you are late, you will not be able to add a number, nor can you add a number by handwriting a note. We hope that all patients and their families will understand that if you want to add a number, please come to your clinic as early as possible, because if you are too late, even if you can add a number, you will not be able to see the relevant tests on the same day.
In addition, after you have registered your number, you need to scan the barcode at the entrance of the clinic or at the entrance of the surgery waiting hall so that the doctor can see your number. Otherwise, the doctor cannot call you. After scanning, the numbers will be called according to the order of outpatient registration, and the computer setting cannot be called earlier or across the number.
You can also contact me online before your visit about adding a number to your visit and uploading information about your visit, etc. to facilitate your visit.
3. In May 2015, the Air Force General Hospital outpatient system has been upgraded and updated. The outpatient system and the ward system are completely separated, and the new outpatient doctor workstation no longer appears on the ward computer, so outpatient registration can no longer be used for ward visits, test orders, prescriptions, etc.
4. After consulting through the website and making an appointment with the specialist, you can go to the consultation room during the specialist’s clinic hours and get an additional number. After receiving the additional number, you do not need to go to the first floor to register, you can register at the specialist registration window on the fourth floor of the outpatient department.
5. Go to the Hospital of Air Force Institute of Aeromedical Research (466 Hospital) on Wednesday afternoon and register for a general surgery specialist.
III. Scope of specialties
1. Thyroid diseases, breast diseases and gastrointestinal tumors. 2.
2. The following diseases are excluded from the scope of consultation: pediatric surgery, peripheral vascular surgery (such as varicose veins of the lower limbs, arteriosclerosis, etc.), acute and chronic pharyngitis with superficial lymph node enlargement (except thyroid tumors with lymph node metastasis), sebaceous cysts, nail infection and soft tissue infection, joint pain, plantar pain, gout, etc.
IV. Transfer (referral) methods.
1. If the patients with foreign medical insurance or NPA need to be transferred, should they be transferred to Air Force General Hospital or Air Force 466 Hospital? How do I do it? Please contact us directly by phone (010-66928304) or through the website, so as not to delay the diagnosis and treatment of patients who cannot be hospitalized smoothly due to the tight bed space or other reasons after they have completed the transfer procedures and come to Beijing.
2. For local medical insurance patients in Beijing who need to transfer their medical insurance for medical treatment, they can go to the medical insurance office of the hospital they wish to transfer to and get the hospital’s acceptance form (including the code of Air Force General Hospital or Air Force Hospital 466), stamp it, bring their ID cards and medical insurance cards, and go to the medical insurance office (section) under the Social Labor Security Bureau in their district to apply for the change, which can usually be completed in one day.
V. Rules for medical treatment
1. All patients need to register for medical consultation, including first-time patients, disease consultation, and follow-up patients to see test results (lab results, reading CT films, ultrasound test results, etc.). Considering that it is not easy for patients from overseas (including the distant suburbs of Beijing) to come to Beijing for consultation, if you really need an extra number within the scope of your consultation specialty, please come to the clinic as early as possible. To ensure that the relevant auxiliary examinations can be completed on the same day, additional numbers are generally not available after 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
2. Patients who have been hospitalized are required to remember their hospitalization number (note: not the outpatient ID number) for easy access during the consultation (note: the hospitalization number is not the bed number of the ward when the patient was hospitalized), and the easiest way is to store the hospitalization number on your cell phone.
4. Bring a copy of the medical record to the follow-up visit. Since it takes some time to complete, file and review the medical records, patients cannot make copies of their medical records within a short period of time after discharge, so please do the procedure of making copies of medical records before discharge, and have the medical records filed and mailed by the relevant personnel.
5. When you visit the hospital, you need to bring the examination data of related diseases, including the examination data in the local hospital. You should bring not only the examination report, but also the picture data (such as thyroid CT film, etc.) (Note that the CT film should not be curled and folded, or exposed to sunlight). If you have a thyroid or breast puncture, or if you have a biopsy taken by gastroscopy or colonoscopy, the pathology film also needs to be brought so that the pathology department can consult you. All related tests, especially imaging tests, such as thyroid CT films, should not be taken home during hospitalization. For thyroid surgery, thyroid CT films should be brought into the operating room with the patient for reference during surgery.
5. Usually the thyroid ultrasound can be examined and reported on the same day. If ultrasound, thyroid CT scan and thyroid scan are scheduled in one day, a reasonable order of arrangement is to do ultrasound on the same day, followed by thyroid CT scan and then thyroid scan test last. The thyroid scan cannot be examined on the same day, but is usually scheduled for the next day, or the third day (after the CT exam is completed).
6. Some patients have commercial insurance in addition to medical insurance. Please explain this to the doctor in charge when you are admitted to the hospital, and if you need two diagnostic certificates, please explain this when you are discharged from the hospital and have it done at the same time.
7. If it is determined that thyroid disease (including breast, gastrointestinal tumors, etc.) requires surgery, stop taking aspirin within one week to avoid being unable to operate after admission and prolonging the waiting time for surgery. Because of the effect of reserpine on the safety of anesthesia, if you are taking reserpine (including preparations containing reserpine, such as hypocretin I), explain this before admission.
8. In the case of thyroid disease, which is more common in female patients, if inpatient surgery is required due to thyroid disease, it is recommended that the patient not be admitted before her menstrual period is about to start, in order to avoid it as much as possible.
9. If the visit is in the morning, fast on the day of the visit to facilitate the examination. For thyroid patients, if you need to check your thyroid function, take thyroid tablets (eugenol) after blood sampling on an empty stomach.
10. Patients with thyroid cancer who have undergone surgery and have an indication for isotope therapy may be consulted by the nuclear medicine department in advance to determine the timing of isotope therapy and when to discontinue levothyroxine (H) tablets (Eugenol). This is especially important for patients in the field to avoid having to return to Beijing again to arrange for isotope treatment after leaving the city. The nuclear medicine consultation needs to bring medical records (copies) or medical record abstracts, pathological diagnosis reports, etc. The required information can be prepared in advance to facilitate the consultation.
11. It is recommended that through the follow-up visit, the net can send text and post pictures, which is very convenient. After registering in the net (free of charge), the information exchanged with the doctor can be accessed by the doctor through inquiry, and it is very convenient to understand the medical history originally provided and propose the current diagnosis and treatment. MMS, WeChat, SMS, etc. are not convenient and are not recommended for use during follow-up visits.
