Asymptomatic right ureteral stone 6.6mm should I have surgery?

Asymptomatic right ureteral stones with a diameter of 6.6mm can be treated with medication and lithotripsy to promote their expulsion, and then surgery if it is ineffective.
1. Medication:
(1) Lithotripsy medication: used for non-calcium stones, commonly used drugs such as sodium hydrogen potassium citrate.
(2) Lithotripsy medication: mainly α1-blockers, such as tamsulosin, naftopidil, etc., but only used for lithotripsy of kidney stones after auxiliary lithotripsy.
2. Lithotripsy: if the effect of drug dissolution is unsatisfactory, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy can be adopted, together with the above lithotripsy drug treatment.
3. Surgery: If the above treatment measures are ineffective, if too many other stones are found, or if there is damage to the kidney function, transurethral ureteral lithotripsy can be used; if there are renal stones, pelvic osteotomy and renal parenchyma osteotomy and other surgical treatments can be used.
The above drugs need to be used under the guidance of clinicians, unauthorized use of drugs is prohibited; suspected urinary stones, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
