What is Minier syndrome?

Meniere’s syndrome, an idiopathic inner ear disease in which the main pathological change is an accumulation of fluid in the vagus of the inner ear membrane, is usually diagnosed symptomatically, with conventional CT and MRI failing to detect abnormal changes. The cause of the disease is not well understood. The main symptom is rotational vertigo, which lasts from about 15 minutes to several hours. Some patients may present with unilateral tinnitus and hearing loss before the attack. The clinical treatment is mainly symptomatic, and vasodilators, such as 5% sodium bicarbonate solution, antihistamines, such as Min Make Long, and glucocorticoids can be applied.
