Lymphatic metastasis of lung cancer belongs to several stages

The stage of lymphatic metastasis of lung cancer depends on the specific location of the metastasis, which should be analyzed in a specific way and should not be generalized. Lung cancer is a very common malignant tumor of the respiratory system. If lymph node metastasis occurs in the peri-pulmonary mediastinum or hilar area, it is generally judged as stage II or stage III lung cancer, i.e. middle stage lung cancer. If other distant lymph node metastasis occurs, such as lymph node metastasis in the neck or abdominal cavity, it is generally judged as stage IV, that is, advanced stage of lung cancer. Patients with mid-stage lung cancer can undergo surgery and chemotherapy to improve survival rate. Surgery is not recommended for patients with advanced stage, and radiotherapy and targeted therapy are commonly used. Those who cannot undergo surgery and are in poor health are recommended to undergo TCM treatment.
