There are many kinds of liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cysts, liver cancer, etc. The symptoms are different, and the common symptoms include jaundice, bleeding tendency, endocrine disorders, ascites, hepatosplenomegaly, hepatic encephalopathy, and so on.
1. Viral hepatitis: acute stage of viral hepatitis starts rapidly and the symptoms are more obvious, patients can have fever, chills, abdominal pain, malignant, jaundice, deepening of urine color, enlarged liver and other symptoms. Chronic hepatitis is characterized by non-specific symptoms, such as fatigue, abdominal distension, discomfort or vague pain in the right upper abdomen, and mental instability.
2. Cirrhosis: Patients in the compensated stage of cirrhosis tend to have mild symptoms and may have non-specific symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, anorexia, abdominal distension and loss of appetite.
When it develops into decompensated stage, malnutrition, jaundice, bleeding of skin and oral mucosa, endocrine disorders, ascites and other liver insufficiency manifestations may appear, and in serious cases, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, hepatic encephalopathy, bacterial peritonitis and other complications may occur.
3. Liver cysts: Liver cysts are a common benign liver disease, with no obvious manifestation when the volume is small. When the cysts gradually increase in size, they can compress the neighboring organs and cause non-specific gastrointestinal manifestations such as discomfort in the right upper abdomen, nausea and loss of appetite.
4. Hepatocellular carcinoma: Hepatocellular carcinoma patients do not have obvious manifestations in early stage, but when the tumor volume is increasing and the liver function is seriously damaged, liver mass, right upper abdominal pain, jaundice, emaciation and other manifestations may appear. The pre-symptoms of liver cancer that develops on the basis of cirrhosis are similar to cirrhosis.
If the above symptoms appear and liver disease is suspected, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
