Is hepatic occupancy a cancer?

If the patient has liver occupancy suggested by ultrasonography, it is mostly liver tumor, and further liver CT or liver MRI is needed to clarify whether it is cancer. If it is benign liver tumor, the most common ones are mainly liver cyst, liver hemangioma, liver adenoma, liver focal nodular hyperplastic lesion, which can be surgically removed under the doctor’s guidance or under long-term follow-up observation. If CT or MRI examinations suggest malignant tumors, or if the patient has a previous history of liver disease, active treatment is needed to avoid life-threatening cancer.
