Qi stagnation and blood stasis (stagnation of blood due to lack of circulation of Qi) can be relieved by running, walking, swimming and other exercises, but for treatment, it is recommended to choose appropriate medication under the guidance of a doctor. For those with qi stagnation and blood stasis, symptoms include chest tightness and abdominal distension, or stabbing pain in the abdomen, distension or stabbing pain in the coarseness and ribs, lack of desire to eat or drink, and emotional and mental disorders. It can be regulated by running, walking, swimming, or TCM’s Taiji, Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, etc. The intensity of exercise should not be too great. Generally, it can relieve symptoms such as poor mood, distension and pain in the abdomen and ribs, but for more severe symptoms, simple exercise may not work for a short period of time.
