With symptoms of a sore throat, you are usually able to drink milk. However, if you are allergic to milk, you should not drink milk.
There are many causes of sore throats, the more common ones being acute upper respiratory tract infections, laryngitis, acute and chronic pharyngitis, and so on. Most of the diseases caused by sore throat, contraindicated foods generally do not include milk. Milk is rich in protein, and also contains trace elements and calcium, which can replenish the nutrients needed by the body, and will not aggravate a sore throat under normal circumstances.
It is important to note that if you are allergic to milk, it is not recommended to drink milk, whether or not you are suffering from a sore throat, as this may cause an allergic reaction, which may not only aggravate a sore throat, but also cause a skin rash, or diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and other symptoms.
Try to avoid spicy foods, such as chili peppers, when the manifestation of a sore throat occurs. You should also go to the hospital as soon as possible to find out the cause and treat it under the guidance of your physician to avoid delaying your condition.
